We operate on a local-first principle. Your activity data stays on your Mac. We do not farm your habits.
Email address, name (if provided via OAuth).
App names, window titles, URLs. All stored locally on your device.
Your activity tracking and classifications are stored locally in ~/Library/Application Support/Zilean/
Cloud sync is optional and only active if you choose to enable it.
Stripe: Secure subscription billing.
Google OAuth: Optional authentication.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), Zilean is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You can access all your local data directly on your device.
Deleting the app and its support folder permanently erases all your activity data.
You can export your session logs to JSON/CSV formats.
You can export or delete your data at any time. Since data is stored locally, you have full control.
